The Language Technology and Society Research Group at the University of Groningen is dedicated to investigating the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and society, with an emphasis on natural language processing. Our research concentrates on developing computational methods for tasks related to argumentation, deliberation, and persuasion, with the goal of improving critical thinking and reducing bias in decision-making processes.
